Altered can with Ladies Diary

Good Monday Morning/ Afternoon everyone.
Hope everyone is staying warm. I've been watching the news and
I am seeing all the bad weather that is happening on the other side
of the U.S. I was so into the news today then a few phone calls
that I had to take ( mother-in-law )that I almost forgot to post
on my blog. I guess better late than never.
In my header picture is a taller can than the one I posted about
yesterday. I used the Ladies Diary cardstock from Graphic 45. I
added some lace and some flowers from Prima. It gave my project
dimension. I know you really can't see it in the pictures but the flowers
are there.

Different shots trying to give the all around view.

This would look to great on my dresser. It can be used to store
all kinds of things ( cotton balls, q-tips, manicure items) just
a few ideas. I hope you like it. Until my next post Have A Splendid
Day!!!!!!!

Altered Peanut can

Good Sunday Morning!
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and has found a few
minutes to craft. I have had a few moments to make it to my craft
space after getting all the decorations put away and have done
some crafting. As you see like I said before less cards this year and
more crafting like what you in the header picture. In the  header
picture is a peanut can that I altered. The reason I used a peanut
can is because my husband likes his peanut snacks that we end
up with a few cans. Some of the cans have been used to store
nails, bolts and of course nuts for the bolts....LOL...... My
husband decided that he had more than enough of these cans
and I didn't need to save them. As I was getting ready to throw
the cans away I took a second look at them wondering if I could
do something with them, low and behold my altered peanut can.

I washed the can with soap and water to get all the nut oil out of it.
Using some Mulberry paper and a cutout from some Graphic 45
cardstock I mod podged it to the can. I then added a rose to the top.
The rose is some of my stash that I am trying to use from my floral
making days. I hope you like it. Until my next post Have A Splendid
Day!!!!!!!

Baby Boy mini album

Good Morning
I Hope that everyone is doing well and keeping warm. My mind
and prayers have been on those that are dealing with some really
cold weather. Maybe I can get your mind off of the cold weather
for just a few minutes with my mini album that I made. This post
will be picture full.
The album was made with paper bags.

I tried to stay mainly with different shades of blues but as you can
see there are a few pages that have pastel colors.

I made this album geared more towards boys.

I wanted to keep it simple and clean leaving a lot of room
for pictures.

There are a few journaling mats like the cute one below sticking
out of one of the pockets.
Pictured below is the back and last page of the album.

Hope you like my mini. Stay safe everyone and until my next
post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!!!

Last Few Months of 2013

Hello my followers.
What a crazy last few months of 2013 for me. As many of you
know we moved back to Medford Oregon in April and there
was so much to do to get settled in.  Moving takes a lot of money
and boy did we go through it like crazy. I have been job hunting
but haven't landed anything yet so to do my part and get some
money coming in I had some very full days crafting and getting
ready for some craft shows. In My header picture is one of the trees
that I made to sell.
Below is a partial picture of my set up at one of my shows right
before Thanksgiving.

I did very well at this show that I was burning the midnight
oil every night to have enough merchandize for the next show.
We had some real crazy weather here which is not normal and
our temperature was in the teens and under for about a week. We
ended up with frozen pipes. With the mess around here I didn't make
it to the next show. In a way I am glad that I didn't do the show
because as I heard from a fellow crafter that went ahead and did
the show it had a poor turnout because of the weather.
The next picture is the tags I made to price all my merchandize.

My days were full with all the baking that needed to be done,
all the Tamales to make, gifts to buy, packages to mail thanx to my
Etsy sales. I did make it to my last show that I was booked for. All
in all I did very well at the shows. I am so glad to be back here where
I have all my following.
We spent Christmas with some very dear friends. We rang in the
New Year at home because frankly I was exhausted and just wanted
a quiet and relaxing time. New years day we had dinner with friends.
This new year will bring some changes in my crafting, I won't be making
as many cards but will be working on different projects. I am already
booked for a show in April and four shows in the fall.
I want to take this time to thank my followers and to wish you all a
Happy New Year! Stay safe.
Until my next post which will come more often now Have A Splendid
Day!!!!!!

New Christmas Ornaments

Hello Everyone,
hope to find you all doing well and staying warm.
I know you must be wondering what happened to me since I hadn't
posted for a while. I have had my days full with all sorts of
projects and life in general. If you didn't know it by now some
of us crafters and designers stay real hush hush about anything
new we are working on especially if we plan to do a few holiday
shows. Don't get me wrong that it bothers me when some one
craft lifts my ideas but I like to be able to show it and try and sell
it so that I can make a good chunk of change before any one else
is making it and trying to sell it. I also have been known to scrap
lift of craft lift some ideas myself every now and then.
So now onto my header picture. This is new ornament that I made
I used my cricut to cut out the Eiffel Tower and I hand wrote Paris
I added pink feathers instead of the fake snow. Put it all together
in a clear ball ornament.

The picture doesn't do it justice. Hope you like it.
I will be at Wilson School this weekend selling my crafts.
Hope to see some of my old friends. A special Thank you to
Yolanda Vanderveen for the push to do the shows again.
Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!
