Great Day

Good Evening Everyone,
So sorry that I was not here to post all of my creations for
the HIMCR National Scrabooking Day Challenges. For a
while now I have been having some car troubles and to top
it off I have two cars. One car over heats really bad and is
just not trust worthy. The other has and oil leak and a
water leak. Both cars are 14 years old so for a while now
we had planned to go looking for a car. Not a simple task
for me since I am very short and I don't feel comfotable
in very many of the new cars these days. That is why I
was not here today to have fun with all of you.  In my
header picture is what I created for the second challenge.
All about Me
Layout Recipe
Bo Bunny Cardstock, the Immortal Love cardstock,
Red and white cardstock, Lace Heart paper punch. I
didn't have time to find the pictures that I wanted to use
for this layout

The next picture is a card that I did for the first challnge
Black/ White and your favorite color
Card Recipe
Red and white cardstock, Cuttlebug folder Textile,
Black and white striped ribbon, Cricut cartridge Storybook,
Unknown rubber stamp, Queen & Co. Pearls and Stazon
black ink.
Just a little diddy about the hearts on the card. I had
actually cut the hearts to use on another project and
this was the scrap that was left over.

The next challenge was Holiday Catch Up. In the picture
below is a Christmas Count Down calander that I am working
on for my daughter. There is a long story to this one I'll have
to tell you about it some other time.
Cover Recipe
25 Days Of Christmas cardstock, We R Memory Keepers
patterned paper, Martha Stewart Jasper glitter, Glossy
Accents, Cloud 9 rubber stamp Xmas, and Stazon black
ink.

Challenge  #4 Kids Craft
This is a card that I made for a nephews birthday.
Shape Card Recipe
Brown and yellow cardstock, Carousel Cricut Cartridge,
Gypsy, Stazon black ink, Purple glitter, & Inkadinkado
Dawn Houser stamp set.
I used my Gypsy to flip the image and weld it together
to make it a shape card.

Challenge #5 I'm Thankful
Pictured below.
This card was made for my friend that I work with keeping
the Miss Warden program and float going. She does alot
of the leg work that needs to be done, so I'm thankful that
she is very dependable.
Shape Card Recipe
Red and white cardstock, Mothers Day Bouquet Cricut
Cartridge, Gypsy, Inkadinkado Dawn Houser set, Stazon
black ink, Brick red dye based ink, and bling.
This card I also used my Gypsy to flip and weld.

So there you have all my projects for the NSD challenges over
at HIMCR. Hope you all enjoyed your day.
I know I did because after a while of looking at cars I got
to stop in at Craft Warehouse joined in on some of their
celebration of NSD. Thank You Laurie for putting this
celebration together.
I have a giveaway of a Cuttlebug folder. You will have until friday
May 11th midnight to leave a comment on this post to be eligible
to win. Good Luck !!!!!!!!

Sorry about the cars - I have been there before so feel your pain (including how uncomfortable it is for us "vertically challenged" folks)!

Love your creations (especially the Thank You flower card) and thanks for the chance to win the Cuttlebug folder. Good luck with your cars.

Jennie, Thank you for the kind words about my projects. The one thing I really hate doing is shopping for a car, But I think we have narrowed it down between three different makes of cars. Hugs, Velma

Jessica, Thank you for showing some love for my projects. I agree that car shopping is a chore and a dreaded one at that. Hugs, Velma

Lisa, I take it your vertically challenged too. I'm barely five foot. I want a car that I can see over the steering wheel not through it...LOL....Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. Hugs, Velma

Great projects, I particularly like your LO, such a classic feel to it.
Very clever using the leftover heart cutouts and I do love your vintage looking Christmas card.
Thanks for the generous offer of a Cuttlebug folder and good luck with your cars.....what a pain.

Your projects are terrific! My grandma was 4'3" and always had pillows in the cars so she could get comfortable. She NEVER drove my grandpa's truck (he was 6'4") Good luck!

Good luck with the car search. My daughter had to really look around a few years ago to find something she was really comfortable in. At least she had fun searching!

I really enjoyed looking through all your projects. GREAT JOB!!
