Hello Everyone,
Hope you are all doing well. We have been dealing with
thunderstorms and in one instance we had such a down
pour of rain that created a mess around town. I'll get to that
story a little later. For now I'm going to tell you about my
card. I found a card that was made like this while looking
on Pinterest. There I was directed to the sight that gave a
tutorial on how to make it. If you would like to learn how
follow the link below:
So using this tutorial I made my card. Pictures below
are what the inside looks like.
Because this post is a little long I will post my card recipe
at a later date.
I'm going to enter this card over at Christmas Crafting
Challenge Blog. Callenge #13 Two or More Folds
Ok so now onto our crazy weather. Below is a few
pictures of our alley that now looks like a dried up
stream. We have been having thunderstorms nightly
and one of those storms brought a real heavy down pour.
Our town is a small town and we do have some storm
drains but the down pour was much more than they could
handle. With all these thunder storms we make sure that
we shut off all our computers and unplug them just to make
sure that if we have a power surge that they won't get
ruined. Tomorrow they are calling for thunderstorms all
day. So we'll see when I turn my pc back on. We did have
trouble with our cable and interenet service one day so
I'd rather be safe than sorry.
Now don't forget that there is still time to get your projects
into the challenges over at HIMCR.

Hi Velma! I don't celebrate Christmas, so I won't comment on your card...but I know you make many cute cards anyway! :-] But WOW! I didn't know you had that kind of trouble in thunderstorm weather! O_O Be careful!...Turn that PC off until it's safe!!
Deb, it has been so crazy around here with the weather. During the day it is hot hot hot but at night we get these really huge thunder and lightening storms. Sometimes we even get a real big down pour. The dogs get really freaked out so we haven't had a good nights rest now for about a week. Thank you for stopping by. Hugs, Velma
Fabulous card, I love the papers and the fold is fabulous. I had heard that thunderstorms cause more trouble over in the states than they do here (here in england we only really get the occasional little ones)

Lindsay, Thank you for the kind words. I'm not sure to the truth of that but it has destroyed some of the farmers crops around here. Hugs, Velma
