Heavens Sweet Babies Blog Hop

             Hello Everyone,
Hope every one is doing well today.
Today we are supporting Jessica our HIMCR sister and her sweet little
angles. We would also like you to hop to support all women who have
had a Miscarriage. I hope that you would hop along with me to honor
these women and their sweet angles. You may know a mom, friend or
you may have had a Miscarriage.

Here are some facts about Miscarriage & a link for American
              Pregnancy Association for more information.
Miscarriage is the most common type of pregnancy loss, according to
the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
Studies reveal that anywhere from 10-25% of all clinically recognized
pregnancies will end in miscarriage. Chemical pregnancies may
account for 50-75% of all miscarriages. This occurs when a pregnancy
is lost shortly after implantation, resulting in bleeding that occurs
around the time of her expected period. The woman may not realize
that she conceived when she experiences a chemical pregnancy.
Most miscarriages occur during the first 13 weeks of pregnancy.
Pregnancy can be such an exciting time, but with the great number
of recognized miscarriages that occur, it is beneficial to be informed
about miscarriage, in the unfortunate event that you find yourself or
someone you know faced with one.
Don’t forget there are support groups
 What Makes A Mother
I thought of you and closed my eyes
And prayed to God today
I asked, "What makes a Mother?"
And I know I heard him say
A Mother has a baby
This we know is true
But, God, can you be a mother
When your baby's not with you?

Yes, you can he replied
With confidence in his voice
I give many women babies
When they leave it is not their choice
Some I send for a lifetime
And others for the day
And some I send to feel your womb
But there's no need to stay.
I just don't understand this God
I want my baby here

He took a breath
and cleared his throat
And then I saw a tear
I wish I could show you
What your child is doing Here
If you could see your child smile
With other children and say
"We go to earth to learn our lessons
of love and life and fear,
but My mommy loved me so much
I got to come straight here!"
I feel so lucky to have a Mom who
had so much love for me
I learned my lessons very quickly
My Mommy set me free.
I miss my Mommy oh so much
But I visit her each day
When she goes to sleep
On her pillow is where I lay
I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek
And whisper in her ear
"Mommy, Please don't be sad today
I'm your baby and I am here"
So you see my dear sweet one
Your children are okay
Your babies are here in My home
And this is where they'll stay
They'll wait for you with Me
Until your lessons there are through
And on the day that you come home
they'll be at the gates waiting for you
So now you see
What makes a Mother
It's the feeling in your heart
It's the love you had so much of
Right from the very start

A post of a different kind

Hello Everyone,
Todays post is going to be a little of the wall and not so much with
something being crafted. While watching the news this morning
there was a lot of talk about beautiful women, and men. More talk
about natural beauty and this is when it hit me. In the header picture
is how with make-up applied this is what is considered beautiful
and I had to laugh. To me it looks more like indian war paint. Don't
get me wrong I'm not saying anything bad about a race because I
am part indian. What I'm trying to say is when and who is teaching
women that putting a stripe at their cheeks looks good. Take a good
side view look it looks more like war paint than enhancing your
beauty. Maybe it just me and what I perceive.
In the picture below is what is being called natural beauty.

I remember being told by my mother before I was allowed to wear
make-up to just pinch my cheeks it would give your cheeks color
which gave your face beauty. Now looking at the picture of the young
lady said to be the most natural looking beautiful woman. I think that
the rosie cheeks look better. What do you think? Oh and this is what I
read on a web page about apply blush.
                        Add a Pop of Color
“Every woman needs color on the apple of her cheeks,” Nigara says.
“What changes is the intensity of color from doll like to fresh.” Using
the clean side of the damp sponge you used to apply your tinted
moisturizer, pat a cream-to -powder or gel blush like
Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush into the skin on the apples of your
cheeks and use the same color to contour directly under the
                        cheekbone.
Ok so now on to some crafty stuff..

Wall Decor

Hello Everyone,
Hope all is going well with all my blogger friends and followers.
Todays post is a quick one because I am real busy working on some
design things for the design teams that I design for. Also I'm working
on a very special design for a a special blog hop that will begin
thursday. In my header picture is a subway art piece that I did a while
back so I know you have seen it before. When I was organizing my
craft space I decided that I was going to keep this and hang it up. When
I hung it up it looked like there was something missing it just looked
plain up on the wall. I made the floral piece and hung it up next to the
canvas and now it looks better.

So as you see I do work in many mediums and am always creating
something. Some of it I just don't post because well as we all know
we judge our creations harder than others do.
Please don't forget the challenges that are going on for the design
teams that I'm a part of.

Flower card

Good Morning Everyone,
Hope everyone is doing well. Yesterday I posted a flower card that
I made for our design team challenge. Some of my readers didn't
realize that it was actually a card. So in my header picture is the
picture of two other flowers that I had also cut out to make into a
card. These two my brain just couldn't at the time figure out how to
make them look more 3-D so I put them on the back buner.
In the picture below is the one that I made work the way my
brain had imagined.....LOL.....

We would love for you to come join in on
our challenge over at HIMCR. To join in follow the link below.

HIMCR Challenge #43

Good Morning Everyone,
Hope everyone is ready to enjoy their weekend. Today begins a new
challenge over at Hiding In My Craft Room. Challenge #43 April
Showers bring.........Homemade Flowers. In my header picture is my
homemade flower card. In making this card I used my Gypsy, Cricut
and the Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge. I used my gypsy because in
order to make a shape card out of it I would have to flip my second
image so when I folded the card that the petals would match. I then
made sure to overlap the flower ever so lightly and welded it together.

The base of the card is cut out at 4-1/4"  then the rest are cut at
3- 1/4",  2-1/2",  1-3/4", 1-1/4" and 3/4". I cut all of the flowers
out of white cardstock. The reason for that is that I was going to
do the alcohol ink and shaving cream technique but when I went
to use the shaving cream it wasn't working. So the technique that
I used to colour the flower is a water color pencil and a water misting
technique. I colored most of the flower in the middle then misted it
with water. I used crumpled up wax paper to pull the color to the
edge of the flower.

I curled the edges by using just my fingers. I punched a hole in the
middle of all the loose flowers and used a small brad to hold them all
together which then I only needed to glue one piece to the base. The
green leaf also come from the same cartridge that the flower comes
from. I cut the leaf out at 3-1/2"
I hope you enjoy my flower. We would love for you to come join in on
our challenge over at HIMCR. To join in follow the link below.
Please make sure to check out what the rest of the desing team created.
The ladies are all so very talented and creative.
