Busy Week

Sorry I haven't posted my weekly how to make it through our tough economy  post or my 30 projects in 30 days post either. This week has not been a very good week for my family my father was not feeling well this week so I have been taking him to appointments to see what is going on, my cousin was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and my father-in-law passed away yesterday so I will be taking some time off of posting anything and hope to be back to posting blogs again in June. May God watch over all of you that follow me and may he keep you safe.

30 Day projects

Here are some more of the projects that I have been getting
done with my challange. With Mothers Day I didn't get
them posted so i'm a few days behind. The weather hasn't
been cooperating either it has been so gloomy so I have
also had to wait and take pictures. I don't have a light
box and my house is so dark. But here is what I did
get photographed.

Hope everyone likes the new Tags.

Part 2 of Saving Yourself in this Bad Economy

Here is another thing that I learned while going through a rough time over a decade ago.
Do not use your 401k. If you cash in your 401k to help you out of a financial bind  you
will pay a big price. There are penalties for early withdrawl and a huge tax cut. By the
time you get the funds it will be a third of what you had. The best way to come up with
revenue is to sell some of your things or pawn them if you have no one that can help you
out. Remember these are just things that you can't take with you when you die.  Where
will you keep it all if you don't have a place to live. Storing it cost you money also.
Keep you chin up. You can always e-mail me if you have any questions.

A very blustery day

All day the wind was blowing and since I live in a farming community we had a dust bowl. Roads were closed most of the day. A lot of accidents and fires happened because of the 50- 60 mile an hour winds. I spent most of my day preparing so that I can do a project a day for the next 30 days. In the next few days I will be posting my projects that I did finish so far. We'll see if I can get all 30 projects done. Have a great day!
