1 card, 2 cards, how many cards more?

Hello fellow bloggers.
I know it's been a few days since I have posted anything
on my blog. I have been real busy baking, finishing up
some gifts, shopping, making cards, getting packages in
the mail etc. etc.. I can guess that a majority of you have
been doing the same. Since it's been a little crazy for me
lately todays post is going to be real heavy in pictures.
Header picture is card #1. Card # 2 is below

This will prove that I have been crafting just haven't
had the time to post my projects. Card #3 is next.

I still have Tamales to make. Card # 4 is next

Also a few more gifts to wrap. Last card for today is
card # 5 pictured below.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures of just a few things that I
have been working on. Until my next post Have A Splendid
Evening!!!!!!!!

Beary Search

Hello fellow bloggers.
Hope everyone is doing well and that your getting all
your things done that you may have on your to do list.
I am just now getting the house decorated for the holidays
This is very unusual for me but as I have said before I
really am not in the Christmas Spirit. Maybe it has to do
with two more relatives passing away. This makes it five
deaths in our family this year. The latest one happened
yesterday.Ok so enough of my pitty party I know there
are people out there who are dealing with worse things
that I am.
In my header picture is a wall hanging that my
mother-in-law made for my kids when they were very
young. My daughter and sons have been asking for this
count down to Christmas calendar. Since I only have
one and there are three kids I don't want any of them
getting mad that one of them got it.

So I am on a Beary Merry Christmas search. It's
what is called a printed panel. My mother-in-law
bought the panel then quilted it adding a couple of
loops to be hung by.

It was bought in the late eighties. If anyone has a panel
stashed away and would like to sell it to me I would
be so happy. If you happen to find one at a second hand
store and it is in good shape please pick it up for me and
I will buy it from you. I need two of them and then each
of my adult kids would each have their own.
My kids have such fond memories of looking at the day
and reading where the bear went looking for Christmas.
Each one took a turn on moving the cloth bear around
in the house. I think it would be neat if they could each
have one.
Thank you for stopping by. Until my next post Have A
Splendid Evening!!!!!!!!!!

Snowflakes I see

Good afternoon everyone.
Hope everyone is doing well. I have been busy trying
to get all my Christmas stuff done but it's a little hard
when your really not in the Christmas Spirit. I really
can't say why I'm feeling this way all I know is that I
am so far behind in baking I don't know if I'll get
everything done that I normally do for Christmas.
In my header picture is a tag that I made to add to my
daughters gift. I know it's a little hard to read I haven't
had a real good light source lately. The tag reads
Sending Christmas Love. It was made using one
of the cuttlebug embossing folders.
Next is a card I made and this one too was hard to
get a photo of it because of the gold cardstock.

Inside the card reads "Jesus is the Reason"
Below are some of the snowflakes that I have been
working on. These snowflakes are quilled. I don't
think I will make very many of them it is very time
consuming. Around here these are the only snowflakes
in sight. .....LOL.... We should have a few inches of
snow by now but we don't. It did snow one day but
it melted away before the day was over.

Well thats it for today hopefully I can get some better
pictures of the other things I have been working on. I
asked for a light box for Christmas hopefully I'll get one
and it'll be easier to get light on my projects.
Until my next post Have A Splendid Evening!!!!

I am entering my card and tag in the challenges below.

A baby on tuesday morning

Hello Everyone,
Hope to find you all doing well and keeping warm.
I am trying to keep my brain from going foggy as
all we have had lately is fog and frost. I'm sorry
I'm very late in posting today but some people
in my life still don't understand my work and
how valuable my time is to me. I was sidetracked
today. Sorry.
In my header picture is a couple of tags that I made
for babies first Christmas. I will get to the on tuesday
morning towards the end.
Below is two more tags that I made for babies first
Christmas

I just wished that I would have been able to find blue
gingham ribbon to match the blue stockings for the boys
tags but since I couldn't find any fast I went with the black.
I like how they turned out anyways. So now on to my
tuesday morning. I have been trying to let everyone
know that you can craft on a budget. Below is a stamp
set that I bought at the Tuesday Morning store. A very
cute vintage stamp set and it only cost $2.99.

The next picture is an embellishment by Recollections.
Recollections is an expensive brand but if you
ever go to Michaels always take time to look in their
clearance isle. I paid $2.99 instead of $4.99 for this
gorgeous embellishment.

I hope that this is helpful to my fellow crafters. Until
my next post Have A Splendid Evening!!!!!!!

What Snowman?

Hello Fellow Bloggers.
Hope to find you all doing well. I am doing well.
As of yet we have had no snow here and so there
is no chance of building a snowman. The only snow
or snowmen that I can work with are on paper.
In my header picture is another tag that I made.
The sentiment reads: "The sun melts a snowman
but a snowman melts the heart."
I embossed the tag with a cuddlebug folder and
used some embossing pearl powders to bring out
the snowflakes. The snowman print actually came
on a box of chocolates. The rubber stamp is from
The Rubber Stamp Connection. Holly leaf ribbon I
bought at Big Lots. I used a Martha Stewart punch
for the to snowflakes and they are punched out
of glitter cardstock.
I want to remind everyone that there is still time
to do some cyber shopping and that many of the
shops on Etsy have cyber monday sales going
on.
Until my next post Have A Splendid Afternoon!!!

Do Bears go in the woods?

Hello fellow bloggers.
I hope everyone is doing well. Hope everyone had a
a good time with family and that you were all safe as
you went out to try and score some of those great deals.
I stayed home and worked on some projects. If I would
have had someone that would have gone with me then
I would have been out there too. Since I didn't get out
there I worked on some ornaments like the one you see
in my header picture. To answer my question yes this
bear does go in the woods, the woods of my ornament
....LOL...
Below is my nativity scene ornament. This was created
with the new cartridge that Teresa Collins has out.
"December 25th"  cartridge. I got it a few days before
Thanksgiving and started working with it right away.

I have a few other projects that are in the works with
the new cartridge which you'll get to see at a later date,
but for now there is the ornament below that I made
 with a deer.

I just haven't found the right ribbon for the animal
ornaments yet. Hopefully I will before next weekend
when I have a show in Othello, WA.
Thanksgiving went ok just a few minor problems.
Like the turkey almost not fitting in the oven. My
brother was scolded and told not to let the turkeys
get so big next time. I forgot the cranberries but we
made it through just fine. So now I'm off to finish
some other projects. Until my next post Have A
Splendid Afternoon!!!!!!!!!

Tag your it !

Hello fellow bloggers.
I hope everyone is doing well and still have their hair
intact. I know that this is a time when we all get real
busy cooking and getting ready to spend time with
family. I don't want to seem like a scrooge but this year
I would rather spend it alone. I'll get to the reason why
as I show you the tags that I have made. In my header
picture is my Let it Snow tag. I made this one wishing
that it would snow ten foot deep and keep some of my
family stuck in their house. I don't want to seem like a
scrooge bu tthings still have not slowed down any for me.
My dad and brother had the three turkeys that they had
been raising butchered. The person that did it really
didn't know what he was doing and broke most of the
feathers off and I spent five hours on sunday cleaning
them up better. If things continue to go the way they
have lately we will be celebrating Thanksgiving on
Christmas. So the tag pictured below may have to
until New Years.

My brother decided that he would wait until Christmas to
cook his turkey and well dad decided to freeze his but
the problem there was that dads freezer was so iced up
that I spent all day monday thawing it out. Thinking  that
since I had spent sunday and monday with dad that I
would be able to get my things done at my home today
but that just didn't work out. Some how I have managed
to get this tag made. Most of my projects are getting
made when night is silent which is after eleven at night

To bad that I have only been able to find the silence very
late at night. Anyway dad sat around here for about four
hours today. I have to stay close so that he doesn't speak
real loud and wake up my son who works at night. Thinking
that I could get my blog done on the laptop didn't work out
because it has a virus so now I'm down a computer and the
other one I use is in my craft room and is a desk top. What
I really want right now is for everyone to go away and leave
me alone so I can catch up with everything that I am behind
on. Let me hear how you really feel about the holidays.
Tag your it!!!!! Sorry about no tuesday morning find, some
of my pictures are lost on the laptop. Hopefully after
Thanksgiving I will be able to find the time to override
and reboot the the system. So until my next post Have
A Splendid Evening!!!!!!!

My week in crafts

Hello Everyone,
Hope everyone is doing well and doing alot of crafting.
I started out the week trying to get some crafting done
but didn't get very far because on monday I went with dad
to his doctors appointment. It wouldn't be so bad if the
traveling time didn't take half an hour to get there and
another half hour to get home just to be in the doctors
office for maybe fifteen minutes. On tuesday we had to
to go back to the clinic because they forgot to give dad his
pneumonia vaccination. By the time we get home the day
is to dark to get some really good pictures. Finally today
I was able to get some pictures of my projects.
In my header picture is a card that I made in the cricut
craftroom using one of the free cuts for this week.

By now most of you know that I try and blog ways
to craft using your scraps and repurposing. In the picture
above I used what us crafters call the negative of a cut.
The next picture again I used the negative of the cut
and a different colored cardstock.

What do you think?
Since I didn't get my weekly Tuesday Morning buy
blogged about I decided that I would post it today too.
Pictured below.

These are just a couple of clear stamps that I found at
Tuesday Morning. Both sets cost $ 2.99 each
Hopefully the weather stays nice and I can get a few
more projects pictured. I'm looking into getting a light
box and won't have to worry about the days being bright
enough. So until I get a light box you'll get to see some
not so great pictures.  Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!!

Do I tell ?

Hello everyone,
Hope to find you all doing well. I am working on projects
trying to get ready for a show in December. In my header
picture is something that I have shown you before. The thing
is that I have always felt that it never looked right. What I
did was added the bling and the cardstock flower. Now I
really like how it looks. So before I show you my other
project I am going to tell you a little story that I think
will have you laughing off your seat.

Pumpkins repurposed

Hello Everyone, I know that it has been some time since
I posted on my blog. Life really got in the way this time.
My uncle Robert was pretty bad off for about three weeks
and I tried to be there as often as I could to help. My uncle
passed away and at about the very same time I had to put
my dad in the hospital. It got very crazy for my family. I
tried to craft inbetween everything just to try and stop from
going insane. My dad was operated on and is doing well
now. He got out of the hospital just in time for his brothers
funeral.
Just when I thought that things could not get any
worse someone decided to help themselves to some of our
things. I know that it's just material things but some of them
had so much meaning. The tools that my son had inherited
from his grandfather. The tools that my son and father-in-law
had used together building a shop and working on antique
cars and the Harley's. The chainsaw that he had left my
husband which was used every year for many years to get
our firewood for the winter. What makes it worse for me
is that in all the years that I lived in a big city nothing was
ever stolen from us, but living here in my hometown that
is the second time in my life. I was about 15 years old when
someone broke into our home. Here I am back and it has
happened again. All I can say is that the person who did it
better hope we never find out it was them.

Well as you can see from my photos of my pumpkins that
were made out of plastic containers, orange paint, vinyl
and the October 31st cartridge. The faces really tell my
story of how I'm feeling. Until my next post Hope you all
having a better time than I am.

Froggy Treat Bag

Good afternoon everyone!!!!
I'm so sorry that I have been
MIA again and now posting late in the day. I just start
to get around to posting every day when life jumps out
and grabs me by the hand. I have been trying to spend
some time visiting my uncle since it's looking like he
is getting close to leaving us here on earth.I try and stop
by every chance I get. On top of that our water heater
went out and  that took up some time cleaning up
the mess from that. So in my header picture is a treat
bag that I made for my uncles grandson who turned
seven today. I thought that he needed a little bit more
cheering up because he is dealing with knowing that his
grandpa won't be around much longer.

I made the frogs using my cricut and the Mini Monsters
cartridge. I the used cardstock to stamp celebrate on and
used it to staple the goody bag closed.I made it so the
kids could take the frog off and be able to stick it on any
other surface. I hope they enjoyed them. Until my next
post Have A Splendid Evening!!!!!!!!!

Lets talk Tuesdays 10/2

Good Morning Everyone. Hope your tuesday is turning
out to be a good day. For me it will be a busy day. I have
bills to get paid and groceries to buy etc. etc. In my
header picture is another great buy that I found at the
Tuesday Morning Store. This stamp set is called  Rock
Star and cost $2.99. In the picture below is the stamp
set named Twist N' Shout

This one also cost $2.99. The next picture is the stamp
set called Vintage Keys and that one cost $1.99.

Sorry about the picture. I tried several times to get a
good picture and it was just not happening. Isn't it
amazing that there are places where you can find
crafting supplies for a fraction of the cost of what
they would be from one of those craft supplies stores
Hope you can get out there a find a bargin. Until my
next post. Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!!!
