A Tag for you

Hello my dear fellow crafters and followers!
I hope you are with your families and enjoying yourselves.
I want to share with you a tag that I made and wish you
all a Merry Christmas!!!!
Now to answer some of your questions.
I know that I have been MIA for some time now and as many
of you know I really don't like to talk about myself. Some of
you have e-mailed me wondering what has been going on that
I have not been blogging.
Life got a little full and crazy. November came and I had a
couple of shows. Before I knew it Thanksgiving was here.
My sales went up in my Etsy shop and I had special orders
to fill and ship. December came and the Etsy sales continued
as did some the shows. I don't know if it was stress or just
being tired but I ended up in the hospital with symptoms that
indicate heart problems. I did a nuclear stress test on Monday.
I'm scheduled for a nerve induction study next month.
Not really sure what is going on with me.
I'm somewhat a bit behind I didn't even put up a Christmas
tree. The house is not decorated. I didn't get cards out. Most
gifts will go out late. Didn't get a lot of baking or tamales
done. Just really don't feel that Christmas spirit. My poor
family knows that something is not right because this
is not typical me. I hope that I find out what is going on
soon and hopefully I will be back doing what I love to do.
Until my next post Have a very Merry Christmas!!!

Congrats card

Good morning fellow crafters and followers.
Hope you are all doing well. What do you have planned
for the weekend? I plan to do a lot of crafting by putting
the finishing touches on projects that I will be taking to
my first show next weekend.
The card that I'm sharing with you today is just one of
dozens of cards that I will be selling next weekend.
I have been working on several different projects not
just cards. I'll be sharing those in the next few days.
The other day I talked about jerky that my son was making.
It is delicious. Its a good thing he made ten pounds of it.
I don't think it will last to long around here. If I could I
would share.
Hope you like my card. Until my next post Have A
Splendid Day!!!!

Space Needle Ornament

Good Morning fellow crafters and followers.
Hope to find you all doing well. I'm a little tired but doing
well. Last week things just kind of got away from me. A
lot going on here.
In the header picture is the new ornament that I made to sell
at the shows that I will be doing. I did put a couple of these
ornaments in my Etsy shop.
Below are the pictures of the box cards that I mailed out. I
try not to blog about them until I know that they have been
received. While you look at the pictures I'll tell you what kept
me on the run last week.

My son Casey got his deer so I spent some time helping
him make sausage, ground venison and jerky. All that took
a lot of prep time.

My Etsy shop is doing well. I had some good sales so
I had a lot of packaging and mail to get out. Trying to
iron out some business things with my youtube channel.
Working on a new banner for my shops. Then
Halloween kind of crept up on me....LOL...

Finished up some projects for a challenge. Working
on projects for my shows. I got the lawn mowed in
between rain storms. Hopefully that was the last time
mowing for this year. Got the house all in order for
winter. So as you can see that by the time I was done
each day I was just to tired to blog. Finally things
have calmed down a little and here I am once again.
Hope you like all
my projects. Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!

Stocking Zig Zag Card

Good morning fellow crafters, scrappers, and followers.
Hope to find you all doing well and staying dry. In our
neck of the woods we are seeing rain off and on. We are
all really glad to be getting some rain we really need it.
Some of the higher elevations are hoping to get some snow.
Looks like we are getting closer to winter which could
only mean that some of us are thinking of all those Christmas
cards that we have to get done.
Here is another zig zag card that I got done.

I have to tell you a little secret. The stocking on this card
was really pink and white. I had cut out a bunch of these pink
stockings for another project that I had made about a year ago.
I didn't want them sitting around taking up space or going to
waste. So I took a red sharpie and colored them red. Now I can
use them on my Christmas projects.
Hope you like my card. Until the next post Have A Splendid
Day!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Tags

Good Morning fellow crafters, scrappers and followers.
Hope to find you all doing well this Wednesday morning.
I'm doing well considering all that I have to do. While I
share  my two tags I'll also share my crazy to do list.

I made these two Birthday tags to add to my inventory of
merchandise that I want to have for the four shows that I
will be doing.
Yes you heard me right four shows.

Three weekends in a row I will be doing a show and then I
have two weekends of breaks before my last show unless I
get into one more show. Kind of waiting  to see if I am
accepted into it. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Not only am I crafting like mad I'm also working on my videos,
blogging, and trying to keep up with my online shops and the
sales. I just mailed out two packages yesterday. Call me crazy
I know, but I'm doing good in keeping up with things so far. I
just hope I can keep it up.
Hope you like the tags. Thank you for stopping by. Until my
next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!!!

Lonely Snowflake Card

Good morning fellow crafters, scrappers and followers.
Hope to find you all doing well. I'm doing good here.
You all know how sometimes life can change our direction.
Well in this case I have to say death. My husbands uncle
passed away. Trying to take care of a few things before
our road trip. I was doing good in posting often and well
life threw our household for a loop. So we just keep moving
forward as best as we can don't we? Yes we do.
Here is my card for today. A real clean and simple card.

This is another one of those zig zag flip cards.
I love how this card turned out. Hope you do too.
Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!

Pumpkin Pumpkin

Hello my fellow crafters, scrappers and wonderful followers.
Hopefully everyone is doing well. I am finally feeling better.
I can't afford to not be feeling well I have a lot to do like
taking out the garden, cutting, painting, creating etc.
Speaking about creating,
here are a couple of pumpkins that I have been working on.

These pumpkins will be decorating some tables.

To make these pumpkins I used a Spellbinders die (scalloped
oval). I did some folding and then glued the pieces together.
For the stem I used some raffia that has been around for about
a decade in my stash.......LOL..... I rolled it in green ink to give
it that real stem look. I glued the stem to the pumpkin. Well
there you have it, pumpkins all done. I think I like the orange
pumpkins the best. What do you think?
Oh I almost forgot a little reminder.
Don't forget about my giveaway on my Youtube channel.
Until my next post Have A Great Sunday!!!!!
Thank you for stopping by.

I have a couple of more tags to show you today.
While you take a look at the tags I'll fill you in on some new
things that I have been working on.

Best To You Tag

Good morning fellow crafters and scrappers.
Hope you are all doing well and staying safe. A prayer
for those that were in the path of the tornadoes.
I got myself together today and actually got this posted
very early or to some it may be late night. Which ever it
maybe for you thank you for stopping by.
Today I want to talk about my Christmas tag.

The cardstock is My Minds Eye Santa Claus collection.
The Holly leaves is K & Company Layered Accents. The
matted sentiment I have no idea who the maker is. If anyone
out there knows please let me know.
I hope you can tell that I am trying to get myself ready for my
first show. I'm doing pretty good at having a good supply of
merchandise.
I hope you like my tag. Until my next post Have A Splendid
Day!!!!!!

Santa Zig Zag card

Hello fellow crafters and scrappers.
Hope to find you all doing well.
Sorry for the late post today and no post on Friday. Trying
to get ready for winter and the weather change. We worked
on our would pile this weekend again and I think that we finally
have enough for the winter. We will be getting some rain for
the next few days and colder weather. Just a few more things
to take care of.
My card for today is a zig zag card. It's the first one that I have
made. Not real happy with it but at least I know get how to make
this type of card.

This card is a technical card and if you would like a step
by step on how to make it there are several youtube tutorials
out there. Just type in zig zag card.
Hope you like my card better than I do...LOL....
Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!

Butterflies and Dragon Fly

Good morning my dear followers.
Hope you are all doing well. I couldn't be better.
A real quick post today. Here are a couple more of the
K & Company tags that I added some embellishments to
and made them a little heavier and sturdy by layering them
on cardstock.
I added a dragonfly to the next tag.
I added a butterfly sticker to the tag below.

Gives the tags a little more dimension

The dragonfly embellishment is EK Success Jollee's
Boutique dimensional sticker. The butterfly is from an
old sticker pack that I am not sure who made it. Probably
stickers that were purchased at Walmart many years ago.
So that's it for today. I have a full day today with many
errands to run and a doctors appointment.
Hope you like my quick tags. Until my next post Have
A Splendid Day!!!!
Oh I almost forgot stay tuned for an up and coming
giveaways.

Little Soldier Tag

Good morning fellow crafters and scrappers.
Hope you are all doing well. Did any of you take the
time last night to take a peek at the gorgeous moon?
I took a minute to go look at it.
With the night time weather getting cooler we know
that winter will be close behind and so will Christmas.
I am getting ready for the fall shows so I am working
on all the different holidays.
Here is a Christmas tag that I put together.

Sorry I don't know who this cardstock collection is made
by. A friend who was out checking out yard sales found a
great deal on a large stack and bought it for me. The
snow globe is a sticker that I got at the dollar tree. The
branches were made with a Martha Stewart punch and
the glittery ribbon is left over from another project. I
believe that the ribbon is from two years back.
Have I ever told you that I have a photographic memory?
Well I do. My mother-in-law loved my photographic
memory because she would often ask me to meet her at
the fabric store so that I could look at something for
her and then make a pattern for her so she wouldn't have
to buy it. I know that's bad. I hate when I get off the
subject so back to the tag. Just a clean and simple tag.
Hope you like it. Until my next post enjoy your day!!!!

Altered tags and light box

Good morning fellow crafters and scrappers.
Hope to find you all doing well and ready for the week.
I'm ready for the week and trying new things. I purchased
a light photo box so that I can be able to take pictures
during the winter. These pictures of my tags are all done
using the light box. I need to get better lights. We'll see if
lights make the difference. So for now bear with me ok.

Now let me get to the tags. These tags are K& Company
assorted tag pack of 24. The tags are paper thin so I layered
a cardstock sheet to them to make them sturdy. I added a bee
from Jolee's boutique sticker. I added a metal eyelet and
ribbon.
The next tag.

I added a banner, stamped hello. Sorry I can't tell you who
the maker of the stamp is because it's old and can't read the
maker. The butterfly is a sticker that I bought at the dollar
store.

I added an eyelet and ribbon.
I am trying really hard to use my stash. It grows bigger every
week and I don't put out enough projects a week to actually
make a dent in it. I'm hoping that I am not the only one that
does this. LOL......
Hope you like my projects. Until my next post Have A Splendid
Day!!!!!!!

Masquerade ATC

Good morning fellow crafters and scrappers.
Hope you all had a great weekend and that you were able
to participate in some of the National Card Day festivities.
I had my weekend full and did not get to join in on the fun.
Maybe next year.
Here is another first for me. I actually tried my hand at
making an Artist Trading Card. It took me about three
weeks to get it together. I would lay it out and look at it
would play with different ways of laying it out. It would
frustrate me and I would walk away from it. I finally got
it together because it needed to get in Beths package that
had to be mailed out. So there it is. Done.

I used red cardstock and the striped cardstock is from
My Minds Eye Santa Claus collection. Black lace is a
scrap that I had. The mask is Venetian Accents Spellbinders
die. I put Glossy Accents on the mask. The words are cut
out of magazines. The bling is Recollections.
I will have to try and make a couple more. Hope you like
my ATC. Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!

My Little Witch

Good morning fellow scrappers and crafters!
Hope you are all doing well and creating. Before I
tell you about my card just a little reminder. This is
Breast Cancer Awareness month also tomorrow is
National Card Making Day. There are so many
fun challenges and hops going on. Hope you get to
participate.
Ok on to my card
A clean and simple card. Black and orange cardstock,
the image and sentiment is Graphic 45 Place In Time
collection, the spider web was made using a Martha
Stewart punch, the white pumpkin is an EK Success
embellishment, the bats were punched out with an
EK Success punch, and the mat is cut using a
Spellbinders die.

And there it is my card for today.
Until my next post Have A Great Weekend and remember
to stop and smell the roses.

Dalmatian Puppies card

Good morning fellow crafters.
Hope to find you all doing well and staying safe. I know
that some areas in our country are to receive some crazy
weather. Here in our area we are climbing to the upper
eighties. Summer isn't over for us yet.
Here is another card that I made for Beths' challenge.

I used red, white, and blue cardstock. The stamped image is
Stampin Up Fire Brigade collection. I embossed the chevron
with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The stars are cut using a
punch on silver cardstock.
If you read my post yesterday you know that I talked about
our wood pile. I forgot to tell you that this one of the things
I help do on the weekends, If we don't get it all split and stacked
on the weekend we work on it during the week. Well yesterday
I was out helping and I was getting after the dog so he would
not be picking up the bark and scatter it all over the yard when
my son took a swing with the axe, split the log and a piece flew
and hit me square on the shin. Boy did it hurt. It did split the
skin. I will see how it looks and feels later today. Might have
to go see the doctor. I hope not, but it hurts to walk. Crazy
isn't it? Oh well.
Hope you like my card until my next post Have A Splendid
Day!!!!
Thank you for stopping by.

Butterflies and Birdcage tag

Good morning fellow crafters!
Hope everyone is doing well and creating. Sorry for missing
a few days of posts. I had a computer melt down. My computer
didn't melt but I had a fight with it. Before I tell you all about
it let me show you my tag.

This is a smaller tag than usual measuring 2& 3/4"  by 5
& 1/4"
The cardstock used for this tag is Bazzils Basic Paper Floral
Collage. I used and EK Success punch on a brown paper bag
for the border. The flower is punched out and layered. The
bling is from Zva Creative and the pearls are Michaels.
Ok so on to my little melt down and a picture of our wood
pile.
While I was out my husband played on my computer. While he
was using it a prompt came up to preview the new MSN page that
we will all change to October 20. He closed the window out
before leaving the preview page and now I am stuck with that
page. I don't like it. MSN will be changing the page to what
I see as catering to the Iphones and Ipads. We will have to do
a lot of scrolling to look at everything that we were so use to
looking at, at a glance. I was upset with the whole thing and
couldn't even stand to look at my pc. I managed to manipulate
the MSN page and get the old one that was the one before this
one that everyone is using before the next change. If that makes
any sense to you. Remember that if you are going to preview
the new MSN home that you have no other window open and
that you make sure to click on the leave preview to leave that
page all together. I sent MSN an e-mail letting them know that
they should make an MSN app for the phones only and leave
the MSN page for computers.
Ok enough of my rant. Hope you like my tag. Oh and by
the way the wood pile is eight foot high stacked two rows deep
and about twelve feet long rows. We won't freeze this winter.
Thank you for stopping by, until my next post Have A Splendid
Day!!!!!

Altered Blue Bucket

Good morning fellow crafters!
Loving the cooler temperature we are having these days.
Mid seventies work for me. Hope everyone is doing well
and enjoying the fall weather like I am.
Here is another bucket that I altered. I will be giving this
bucket to my friend that does some beautiful floral work.
This same friend and I will be doing a few shows together.
Once she does the floral work I will make sure to get some
photos of the finished product.

I used Gesso to cover what was a red bucket with white
snowflakes. I used a sea sponge to dab on some blue
paint. I cut out the Bird image from the Kaiser Craft True
Romance Collection. Used Mod podge to adhere it to the
bucket. Cut out the floral stems with my Cricut using the
Potpourri Basket cartridge on white cardstock. I used ink
to give them a soft green color. The picture doesn't do it
justice. I like how it turned out. Hope you like it too. Kind
of a quick post today I know but I have so much to do
and I didn't want to skip a day blogging. I'll share some
of the other things I have been busy doing that are not
craft related soon.
Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!
