Everything is black and white

Good morning fellow crafters.
Hope to find you all doing well and enjoying some nice
weather. It has been nice here and getting warmer every day.
Even though things are getting colorful all around us with
everything in bloom my world well my creative world is a
little black and white.
A while back I talked about having to re-take some pictures
because they were all a little dark and was having a time in
photo shop. When I would try and lighten the picture it would
distort the true color. Since I had to do re-takes I decided to really
play my camera.
These pictures are my card that I made playing around and
trying a few different techniques. The sentiment is from Fiskers
Lasting Love Quotes stamp set. This is a window card.

I would like to know what you think about these pictures.
Do they catch your attention? Does it take away from the
project? Leave me a comment about your thoughts.
Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!

Bunny box card

Good morning my fellow crafters.
Hope to find everyone doing well. I'm doing ok just trying to
stay dry and warm. We have a few more days of rain left before
the weather changes again. Rain is good...LOL...
In my header picture is the last Easter box card that I made. I
waited to post this one until I was sure that it was received.
Pictured below is what the card looks like when closed

A lot of the pattern paper and the cut outs are from scraps.
I know that the paper is at least a few years old.

The eggs all came from one line. The bunny cutout came from
a different line and the little Easter sign came from another
collection. I tried to find the makers but had no such luck.
Out of all the Easter cards this one was the simplest to put
together.
Well that does it for box cards for now. Aren't you glad to hear
that? ....LOL...
Hope you all liked my box cards. Until my next post

Envelope punch board crackers

Good morning fellow crafters.
Hope you are all doing well. Our weather has gotten a little
wet and cold. They are calling for snow in the mountains. I
welcome the rain and snow since we are behind in our water
levels. The poor farmers around here are so worried that they
will not have enough water for their crops this year. Hopefully
this weeks storm will ease some of their worries.
In my header picture is some of the crackers that I made with
my envelope punch board. Below are close up pictures.
I made over a dozen of these. I was able to use some of my
scraps and I am finally starting to see my scrap pile shrink
a little.

They were pretty simple to make. I split the pile up between
to friends.

I put little bottles of fingernail polish, hair bands, stickers, play
jewelry, candy, and match box cars inside.
My friends really enjoyed opening them up. Real big hit.
I pictured just one set because I made duplicates and it was a
little overwhelming if I tried to get them all pictured.
I hope you like what you see so until my next post,

Purple Passion Box card

Good morning fellow crafters.
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. The weather was
nice and warm here and we spent Easter with my in-laws. It
was a pretty nice weekend that we even got a few things done
outside. This next week we are to have rain every day so I
should be able to do a lot of crafting but pictures may be a
different story.
The card in the header picture I made for my friend Jaime
who loves purple.
Below is a picture of what it looks like when folded up.

I'm trying to use a lot of my scraps so some of the patterned
paper I'm not sure what collection they are from. Some of it
I know is a few years old because I do remember what project
I used it on and it was a while back.
Some of the flowers are from Prima and some of them I made
using a flower paper punch. The greenery is a die cut using my
Cricut. Hope you all like it as much as my friend did.
Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!

I am entering this card in the following challenge

Ballons in a box card

Good morning fellow crafters.
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. I will be enjoying
mine especially since it will be in the seventies here this
weekend. Planning to be outdoors most of the weekend some
work involved though...lol....
In my header picture is a box birthday card. Pictured below
is what it looks like when all folded up.

I had a lot of fun making this card. The balloons is an old
rubber stamp and because it is old and worn out a little I am
not sure who made it. I coloured the balloons with water color
pencils.

The patterned paper was scraps that I had left from another
project. The wood grain pink cardstock I'm sure many of you
recognize it coming from Tuesday Morning. I used some Prima
flowers and some flowers that were left from my floral creating
days.
I am real happy how this card turned out. Hope you like it too.
I almost forgot to share some happy news with you. Last Sunday
I won a Cricut cartridge, I didn't find out until Tuesday because I
was a little behind in my blog reading. When I receive it I will share
which cartridge and where I won it.
So until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!

Easter box card #2

Good morning my fellow crafters.
I hope everyone is doing well and staying dry. We got a little
rain yesterday just like the weather people predicted. Glad for
the rain since we are behind in rainfall for the water year. Look
at me sounding like a weather person.....LOL..... which I am not
one so let me get to my card.
This Easter card is a little different than the last one.  A few more
embellishments have been added to this one. Below is a picture
of what the outside looks like before opened.
Before I go any further I need to give credit to the people that
actually designed the box card and also show step by step how
to create it on youtube.
Thank you Wendy Cranford and Queen B Creations.

Back to my card now
The rubber stamp images are from Studio G. Some of the
cardstock is We Are Memory Keepers Easter Basket collection.
Some of the cardstock used are scraps left from other projects.
Well there you have it another card and another post. Can you
believe that I've done three posts in a row? Well neither can I
.........LOL.......
Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!!

In the Garden box card

Good morning fellow crafters.
Hope to find you all doing well and that you all are enjoying
some nice weather. We have had some really nice days but that
is going to change for a day or two as we are to get some rain
which is very much needed.
In my header picture is another box card. I made this card for
a friend who is in the hospital and will be there for at least five
more weeks due to complications during surgery.
The picture below is what the card looks like before opened.
The stripe cardstock is Primrose from BoBunny. The rose
cardstock I'm not sure what line it comes from.

The Lady is fussy cut from the Ladies Diary collection as well
as all the flowers. The Eiffel tower is a cricut die cut. Sentiment
is a clear stamp from TPC Studios Whimsical Greetings. I really
had fun creating this card.
I took the card to my friend the other day and she loved it. I
hope you like it too.
I'm off to do some more creating, so until my next post

Easter box card

Good morning fellow crafters.
Hope to find you all doing well and enjoying the spring
weather. I have had some full days trying to get some cleaning
done around the yard. We have also been working on the garage
cleaning it up, rearranging making it more user friendly. Can
you believe that with all the work that we are doing around the
house I still have time to craft?
In my header picture is an Easter box card that I made. Below is
what the card looks like before it is opened.
I wish I could remember who the maker of the cardstock is but
I have no idea since I used scraps that were from last year.

The bunny, chicks, and eggs are from the We Are Memory Keepers
line called Easter Basket. The basket is a stamp that I coloured
using my water color pencils. I had fun making this card. Hope
you like it.  I was hoping to get some posts done earlier but I am
still having trouble with getting my pictures to not turn out so dark.
After several rounds with my camera and using different locations
to take pictures I think I have found the best place to get some
decent pictures. I am so happy for that. Well I better get back to
getting something done around here. Soooooo
Until my next post

True Friends wall decor

Good morning everyone.
Hope that you are all enjoying your weekend. I have some
full days this weekend while it is still a little cool. Our temperature
is going to get a little warm next week with us getting into the upper
seventies and a couple of days in the eighties. We'll see if it really
happens.
In my header picture is a plaque that I added some embellishments
to. A good friend gave this to me and I thought it looked a little plain.

I added some Prima Fabric flowers that I got at Tuesday Morning,
Pearls that I found in my stash.

I added some 7 Gypsy Display Trim Corners (antique silver).
These I also had got from Tuesday Morning. Below is a picture of
what the plaque looked like before I embellished it. The picture is
a little dark but by the time I realized this I had already embellished
the plaque. I tried to lighten the photo in photo shop but it really
washed out its true color so dark it had to stay.

I know that in one of my posts I had talked about some of my pictures
being a little dark and how I was having to go back and re-take pictures
of some of my projects. I still haven't got to that but hopefully this next
week when we have some bright and shiny days I'll be able to get that
done.
Hope you like what I did to my plaque, until my next post

Making no promises and a new card

Hello everyone,
hope to find you all doing well and enjoying the new season that
has arrived. I have had some full days making appointments, getting
estimates, house sitting, pet sitting, crafting, making summer plans,
spring cleaning, the list goes on.  We are getting the garage rewired
so that we can get it finished off. We are also getting ready to pour
a new carport floor and some new sidewalks. It's been a little crazy
around here but I have managed to do some crafting. It's been fun
creating box cards. Below is a picture of what the box card looks
like before it is opened.

The next picture is the box card when opened

The balloons are a rubber stamped image that I colored with
water color pencils. The cake is a cricut die-cut that I also
water colored. I am real happy as to how this card turned out.
Hope you like it too. I forgot to get a picture of the matching
envelope. I will try and get a picture of it tomorrow when
I am taking pictures of all my other projects. I can't promise
that I will post it tomorrow because we work on our home
projects and we quit in time to eat before it gets to late and
by that time we are spent. It will all depend on how tired I
am in the evening. So until my next post
Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!
