HIMCR Challenge #47 Mix It Up - Fathers Day

Hello Everyone,

Hope Everyone is enjoying their three day weekend. I am

spending a quiet weekend at home. It's been a real busy

week so I'm going to try and catch up on all my house

work and then just relax.

Today we start a new challenge over at HIMCR. The

challenge for this week is Mix It Up / Fathers Day.

In my header picture is a tag that I made. I'm kind of

giggling about it because I can't believe how many

different techniques I used to create this small gift tag.

This tag is dry embossed, embossed, and distressed.

I know that you have all noticed that I have been kind of MIA

life again has thrown a curve ball at my family. I have a cousin

and uncle that are terminally ill. Every day we pray that our

family get the chance to have another day with them. I ask you

to please keep my family in prayer for I see some long and

hard months ahead of us. Thank you so much for following

my blog and I will be here as often as physically and mentally

possible.

Challenge #46 Do Over

Good Morning Everyone,

Hope to find everyone doing well this lovely weekend. It's

saturday and the beginning of a new challenge over at

HIMCR. This weeks challenge is to take a previous made

project and redo it. You can change the colors, add more

embelishments, or make it more simple.

In my header picture is a previous card I had made. It was

kind of plain I thought so I added more embelishments. I

added the butterfies, flowers and black pearls. I know like

it the card better.

In my header picture is a picture of a rose that I have

carried around with me for some time now. This

is the Rose that I always send to heaven for my mother

who passed away many years ago of a brain tumor. I

also am sending it to all the mothers in blogland.

Funny Picture Tuesday

Hello Everyone,

Hope everyone is enjoying their day. I have been enjoying

my days especially because the sun has been out making

the days warm and beautiful. I have been busy creating

just that some of the projects I can't show just yet.

So are

you all laughing yet about my picture? In my header picture

is my boxer and her binky a while back a friend had stopped

in with their baby and when they left the babies binky got left

here. We asked if we needed to get it back to them right away

and we were told not to worry about it because they had

extras. Well some how it ended up on the floor one day and

my boxer got a hold of it. It has become her binky. I having

been trying for a couple of months now to get a good picture

of her and her binky and I finally got a couple.

We figured that we would just let her have the binky maybe it

would help with the underbite that she has.....LOL..... Kind of

crazy to see a dog with a binky.  This is one picture that I will

have to scrapbook. Speaking of crafting don't forget about the

Great Day

Good Evening Everyone,

So sorry that I was not here to post all of my creations for

the HIMCR National Scrabooking Day Challenges. For a

while now I have been having some car troubles and to top

it off I have two cars. One car over heats really bad and is

just not trust worthy. The other has and oil leak and a 

water leak. Both cars are 14 years old so for a while now

we had planned to go looking for a car. Not a simple task 

for me since I am very short and I don't feel comfotable

in very many of the new cars these days. That is why I

was not here today to have fun with all of you.  In my 

header picture is what I created for the second challenge.

All about Me

Layout Recipe

Bo Bunny Cardstock, the Immortal Love cardstock,

Red and white cardstock, Lace Heart paper punch. I

didn't have time to find the pictures that I wanted to use

for this layout

The next picture is a card that I did for the first challnge

Card Recipe

Red and white cardstock, Cuttlebug folder Textile,

Black and white striped ribbon, Cricut cartridge Storybook,

Unknown rubber stamp, Queen & Co. Pearls and Stazon

black ink.

Just a little diddy about the hearts on the card. I had

actually cut the hearts to use on another project and

this was the scrap that was left over. 

The next challenge was Holiday Catch Up. In the picture

below is a Christmas Count Down calander that I am working

on for my daughter. There is a long story to this one I'll have

to tell you about it some other time.

Challenge  #4 Kids Craft

This is a card that I made for a nephews birthday.

Shape Card Recipe

Brown and yellow cardstock, Carousel Cricut Cartridge,

Gypsy, Stazon black ink, Purple glitter, & Inkadinkado

Dawn Houser stamp set.

I used my Gypsy to flip the image and weld it together

to make it a shape card.

Challenge #5 I'm Thankful

Pictured below.

This card was made for my friend that I work with keeping

the Miss Warden program and float going. She does alot

of the leg work that needs to be done, so I'm thankful that

she is very dependable.

Red and white cardstock, Mothers Day Bouquet Cricut

Cartridge, Gypsy, Inkadinkado Dawn Houser set, Stazon

black ink, Brick red dye based ink, and bling.

This card I also used my Gypsy to flip and weld.

Flower Card

Hello Everyone,

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their day. Todays post

will hopefully be short and sweet. Maybe not. If you know anything

about me you know that I tend to think outside the box more often

than not and sometimes that gets me in trouble or just creates a big

mess. Anyways, in my header picture is a shape card that I had

started a while back when I was working on some shape cards.

I had showed  just the cutout (shell) of this one and couldn't get my

brain to visualize the outcome but I finally got it together...LOL

A Special card

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Hope everyone is doing well. Can you believe this week is almost

over? I have been really busy creating for both of my design teams.

I can't show any of them until saturday so make sure you stop in to

see what I have been up to. In my header picture is a card that I

made for the Heavens' Sweet Babies blog hop that I was a part of

on Monday. Which was in honor of one of our design team

members. There was so much information in that blog hop that

I felt that adding the recipe to the card would take away from the

hop itself so now I will give the card recipe. I hope that all of
