skills a bit more.....LOL...... I'm happy with how it turned out.
If you would like to join in on the challenge and get entered into the
monthly drawing follow the link below:

Organizing and listing
Good Morning Everyone,
Hope to find you all well and crafting. As for me well I am doing some
crafting but I'm also trying to get organized. If you hadn't heard I made
a design team. I will be designing for Hiding in My Craft Room. I want
to be able to find all my supplies without having to dig for them so for the
past few days I have been organizing my craft area, not a craft room
because I'm not so lucky to have that. While I was organizing I realized
that I had many cards that I had not listed on my Etsy shop so I am in
the process of getting all of those listed. In my header picture are some
of the cards that will be listed today. I've already listed a few others. I
also ended up organizing my Etsy shop hopefully it is more eye appealing.
I'll be posting some of the new things that I have been working on in
the next day or two so until my next post Have a Splendid Day!!!!!!

Presidents Day Sales
Hello Everyone,
Yesterday I finally made it to the craft store sales. I know you must all
be thinking what? Well let me explain. In order for me to get to shop at
all those big name craft stores it is over an hour of traveling time to get
to them. Yesterday I had some other shopping to do so I managed to
leave early from home get all the things done that needed to be done
and then I had plenty of time to spend in the craft stores. In my header
picture is some of the cardstock that I got for twenty-five cents a page.
Can you believe I paid that for Graphic 45 and Bo Bunny. Amazing. The
wooden stamps were two dollars each. and the clear were 50% off. In
the picture below is other cardstock but they are stacks and I didn't
pay more than five dollars for the thick stacks and three for the thin
ones. I used alot of coupons......LOL..... The other things in the pictures
were less then two dollars. I'm still in shock with everything that I got.
In my very last photo is my most favorite stamp I bought yesterday.
First of all let me tell you that I did not get it at any of the craft stores.
We had stopped at goodwill in Tri-cities because I have been trying to
find an old desk and also an old chair for a project I want to do. While
looking around I found some rubber stamps but one really caught my
attention.
now I need to make some kind of card with it. Hmmmm and the
wheels are turning. Once I get something done with it I will post it.
Hope some of you got the chance to make it to those craft sales like
I did. Until my next post Have a Splendid Day!!!!!!!!!

The word is out
Hello everyone,
A few days ago I mentioned that there were some changes that
would taking place. Well the word is out, Laurie from Hiding In
My Craft Room has chosen her design team and I made her team.
I am so excited and a little scared to be honest. Like your first day
at a new job.
For about a year now I have been applying to design teams never
making it onto any of them. I had decided that I was not going to
try anymore but something told me to not give up. Low and behold
I made it.This is the first design team for Hiding In My Craft Room.
I will be working with four other creative and very talented ladies.
If you would like to see who else is on the team here is the link.
I can't wait to see what or first project/ challenge will be.
Until my next post Have a Splendid Afternoon!!!!!!!!!!
Show love every day
Hope everyone is doing well. I know it's very early and you must be
thinking what is she doing up so early. I haven't been to bed yet. One
of our dogs has been sick all night so that is why I'm still up. I haven't
had to take him out for about half an hour now and if he makes it
through another thrity minutes then I'll go to bed. So since I was still
up I thought I would go ahead and post my new card. In the header
picture is the new card I made and again it is kind of a take of another
card I made last year. In the picture below I have put a sentiment on
the inside of the card.
The sentiment is: "No act of Love however small is ever wasted." I
think that every day we should show those around us the love we
have for them.
Card Recipe:
Red, White, and Pink Cardstock
The Ribbon Boutique Black and White Striped silk ribbon
Cricut cartridges Plantin Schoolbook, and Storybook
Handmade Rosettes
Stazons Black ink
Fiskars Lasting Love Quotes clear stamp
Vitta Bella clear stamp
Jewels
Again I am happy with the way this card turned out. Until my
next post Have a Splendid Day!!!!!!!!!!

Friendship
Hello Everyone,
Hope you are all having a good day. I know that I am. In the next few
days you will be seeing more changes that will be happening on my
blog. All I can say about it right now is that it will be good changes . In
my header picture is a new card that I made with a little take from another
card that I made a while back.
I made the card because I really like the Friendship sentiment. Hope you
like it too.
Card Recipe:
White cardstock
Sweetheart Stripe/ circle cardstock ( Pebblesinc.com)
EK punch English Ivy
Pink ribbon
Stazon black ink
Stampin' Up Close to Cocoa ink pad
Martha Stewart Pink Carnation ink pad
Mother's Day Bouquet Cricut cartridge
Brown Sharpie marker
Corner punch
Fiskers Friends Forever quotes stamp
Handmade rosettes.
I used the Close to Cocoa ink pad on the white cardstock to give it
a leather look. All the brown cardstock that I had wasn't doing any
thing for me and the card......LOL....... I know it sounds a little crazy
but I liked this look better. Let me know what you think. Until my
next post Have a Splendid Day!!!!!!!!!

Past creations revisited
Hello Everyone,
Hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday. With so many celebrating
Valentines day yesterday and looking back at how they met and thinking
about the past years that they have made it through I started thinking
about last year and the creations that I had made and which ones stood
out for me. So after having a meal of turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing,
gravy, and cranberry sauce. All my husbands number one favorite foods.
Which I remember him saying why can't we have this type of meal several
times a year....LOL... I fixed it for him yesterday and we stayed in for dinner.
For those of you who know where we live. I just thought it would be
better for us to fix a very nice meal instead of him driving twelve miles
home from work and then driving back those twelve miles to go out and
eat and then another twelve miles back home. Which would have been a
waste of time and money. Ok enough about yesterday.
Now on to my favorites. This is what I came up with as to my most favorite
cards of last year. In the header is my take on a box of chocolates. The
next picture is a card that I did for Breast Cancer Awareness.
The next card that stood out for me was my Wedding card. Pictured
below.

Ribbon and Lace Card
Hope everyone is having a good weekend. The sad thing is that the weekend
is almost over. Yesterday I visited a couple of blog hops that are being held.
There are some very talented paper craft artists out there. If you have some
time on your hands and don't know what to do with it visit a blog hop. The
hops are good for inspiration. In my header is a card that I did for a challenge.
The challenge is called Ribbon And/Or Lace that's romantic over at Let's Ink
It Up blog. http://letsinkitup.blogspot.com/
Just a little FYI the mini rosettes I hand made using a paper punch and then
I put them together. The rubber sentiment stamp is one that I bought at a
yard sale over a year ago. The stamps were unmounted and there were over
forty stamps. I just got around to mounting them. I have no idea who the
maker of the stamp is. Sorry about that. The beige lace, the pink and
white trim are things that I inherited after helping dad clean out his house.
Pink, turquiose, cream, and green cardstock
Nonnas' Garden Paper Pack
Shear and silk pink ribbon
Rubber stamp sentiment
Stazon black ink
Handmade mini rosettes
Beige lace
Pink and white trim.
This card is entered in Lets' Ink It Up challenge.
Thank you for stopping by. Until my next post Have a Splendid Day!!!!!

Nonnas' Garden Card
Hello Everyone,
Hope everyone has had a good week. It's friday and I know alot of
you out there are looking forward to the weekend. Each one of you
may have a different reason for wanting the weekend to be here. If
your like me I look forward to family time. Lately our family has been
talking about our memories of days gone back. I guess I have been
feeling a little nostalgic. I then came to find this cardstock. Nonnas'
Garden paper pack. I love the delicate floral that is on the cardstock.
In my header picture is one of the cards that I made. I love how this
to this card because most of the embellishments were odds and ends
from other projects and so i'm not sure who the maker is. The paper
though is from the Nonnas' Garden pack which has six different designs
The pack is twelve sheets so two of each design. Which clearly is not
enough for me and my creative run away mind.....LOL.... I wish that
I would have bought two packs instead of one I like it that much.
Maybe there'll still be some packs left by the next time I make it in to
town. Who knows.
Until my next post have a Splendid Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a little Thank You
Hello Everyone,
Hope everyone had a great Super Bowl weekend. I know I did. With
another year down in the history or record books in football and some
other sports sometimes we all get busy living our lives and we forget to
pay attention to small but great feats. I am known to do that often. I had
not been paying attention to my hit counter lately and to my surprise my
blog had over three thousand hits. So I am dedicating my Thank You card
that is in the header to all of you that stop by and read my blog. It is just
so amazing to me that many of you would want to see my creations or listen
to what I have to say. I also have to thank my family for supporting the
things I do and helping me out at the craft shows. Once again Thank You
my followers, readers, friends and family.
Card Recipe:
White, black, red, and music cardstock
