New beginnings

Hello Fellow Bloggers,
Hope everyone is doing well. I hope that you're at least
doing better than me. I have several things to talk about
today so I will apologize now for being long winded.
As you see in my picture above I have finally gotten
around to changing my blog and Etsy shop name. Some
time ago I had talked about doing this, well I finally got it
done. My new shop name and blog name are now Paper
Sewn Visions. I had been toying with this for a while
and finally decided that this new name reflected the
type of crafting I do. My blog also has a new look as
you can see. Hope you all like it.
I had planned to get all of this done this weekend but
once again life just got in the way. I had forgotten about
my adopted granddaughters dane recital and had to be
at that on saturday. There went some of that day.
Marions Dance number

Now here comes the worst of this past weekend. I spent a good
portion of sunday at the ER with my husband. While he was
trying to get the lawn mower working he cut his hand it
required stitches. Ok before I go any further I need to let you
know that to get to an ER here it is at least a 25 minute drive
north or south for us. As we were waiting for his prescription
our son calls us and as he got the lawn mower going and was
cutting the grass he got stung. Well our son is deathly
allergic to wasps. We high tailed it home. He had already
done what the doctor had told him to do and that was to mark
the area with a pen and put the time down. Watch that the
swelling or redness didn't get worse. Things were fine
for the rest of the evening.
My husbands stitches

This morning our son wakes up
with severe pain and the redness and swelling have gotten
worse and his skin feels really hot to the touch so another
25 minute trip today to the walk in clinic today. All I can
say is will it ever stop? Probably not, thats life. So hopefully
tomorrow I can get the rest of the things done that I need
to get done. We'll see, Until my next post Have a Splendid
Day!!!!!!!!!

WOW!! :-( First, let me say that I hope your son is okay. I know that allergies are nothing to play with. My hubby had a scare like that on a vacation one time....not from a sting though. He's allergic to shellfish and had decided, while I wasn't looking, to just "TRY" my fish chowder! O_O It was a very long day!...And next, tell your hubby to "BE CAREFUL!" Lawn mowers are also nothing to play with! I hope it heals quickly for him...Lastly, I love the new name and look of your blog. t seems very appropriate for who you are and what you do now...I think somebody else besides me is gonna need a nap today! ^_^ Get a good one!

I do hope your son feels better soon and that you have time to craft. Lots of things (good things) have happened in your life). Take care, hugs, Marion

Deb, Looks like we are headed back to the clinic with the sting still being a problem. The area has gotten bigger so here I go again. Please keep me and my family in prayer. Hugs, Velma

Marion. It doesn't look like things will settle down soon. Headed back to the clinic again. I just ask that you keep my family in your prayers. Thank you for stopping by. Hugs, Velma

:-( Oh no! There's nothing fun about having bee venom coursing through your veins!...unfortunately anti-bee venom is not that much fun either...very tiring...Hang in there everybody. :-(
