Blue glitter

Good Morning everyone!
So glad to be here today to share another project. Hope to
find you all doing well this Friday. Do you all have something
fun planned for the weekend?  I on the other hand have nothing
fun planned other then getting some things done around the
house and hopefully I can get some crafting done. Well lets
get to my project. I made another purse mini album. This time
I'm not going to go showing you all the pages because it was
basically done like the first one I showed everyone. I did tweak
it a little bit but not enough that it changed it completely.

As you see I made it in blue and also made the wallet to go with
it. This project was a special order. I had stopped in my local
scrapbooking store to see if they carried the disc magnets because
on the other purse I had used Velcro to keep the purse and wallet
closed and I was afraid that if it were opened and closed a lot that
the Velcro would pull off the cardstock. I took my mini with me to
make sure that I would get the right size. The gals there loved it  and
one of the gals asked me if I could make her one in blue. She wanted
to give it to her best friend on her birthday. This purse has a magnet
that keeps it closed now instead of velcro.  I like the magnet closure
better.  I hope you like this one too. Now I'm off to get some things
done so until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!

Cute Witch

Good Morning everyone!
Hope that you are all enjoying hump day. I know that I am enjoying
the day because the weather sure has been nice lately. I also have a
job interview this morning so wish me luck.
I have been having fun just creating. This new creation I know is
a little bright in color but I love how this card turned out. The digi
comes from The Enchanting Art of Heather Valentin. I coloured her
with water color pencils. Below is a close-up of the digi.

Isn't she adorable?

The pattern paper comes from the Recollections Midnight Magic
stack. This stack was put out in 2011. Like I said before I'm trying
real hard to use up my stash. So far I think I'm doing pretty good
In my upcoming posts you will see some old cardstock stacks.
Hope you like my card. Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!

Let me share

Good morning everyone.
Hope to find you all doing well and staying warm. Hopefully
you are all taking the time to get out and look at the beautiful
fall colors.
Usually on Tuesdays I show you some thrifty buys I have made.
Today I'm going to share something different. In my header picture
is a scene that is stamped. It is just the start of a beautiful creation. I
found a youtuber that creates some gorgeous scenes using just stamps.
Kevin is the owner of this stamp line and the creator. If you follow
the link below you can watch Kevin at work which is just amazing.
Now don't think that I won't ever show some thrifty buys on
Tuesdays because I have several to share.....LOL..... I just want
to keep things interesting. I hope that you take the time to watch
this video. Thank you for stopping by and until my next post
Have A Spelndid Day!!!!!!

My Skeleton Friend

Good Morning everyone, hope to find you all doing well.
The weather was beautiful yesterday that I got some things
done around the yard. Today I will be on a mission to find a
glass for our woodstove because we broke it while cleaning it
to prepare to use it. Little things that happen in life and we
go with the flow. Now onto my header picture. I made a
Halloween card using coredinations sand n tear it emboss
cardstock. The header picture was taken before I added the
bling from Recollections so that all the words could be seen.

I embossed it using the Tim Holts Alterations Halloween Print
embossing folder then sanded the cardstock to bring out the
underlying color and make the words stand out. The stamp is
My Minds Eyes Lost and Found Halloween collection

I'm trying to use a lot of my stash cardstock before I go buying
anymore cardstock. I probably have about a three foot stack of
cardstock if I stacked it.....LOL.... and I know that I am not the
only one out here in blog world. I have a problem and I need help.
We need to start some type of cardstockaholics group. Ok so I'm off
the blog subject lets get back to my card....LOL......
A real simple card but I like how it turned out. Hope you like it
too. Until my next post. Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!!

Finally the last pages

Good Morning to all my beautiful followers.
Hope you are all doing well. As for me I am doing ok with the
exception of the weather I don't know what kind of weather you
are all dealing with but as for me and in my neck of the woods we have
had some cold days. We have stayed in the lower sixties, but they say
that we will be back in the seventies staring around Tuesday. I'll just
have to wait and see. With the cold spell that we had we were just not
real ready for so we were scrambling to get some things done around
here that I didn't realize that I hadn't scheduled any posts. So here is the
last pages of the purse mini.

Finally the last pages. A lot of pockets, tags, and mats. So many places
to put pictures. Hope you like it. Until my next post Have A Splendid
Day!!!!!!!!

Mini Purse Album part 2

Good morning everyone.
Hope to find everyone doing well. I'm keeping busy creating and
working on a schedule to give some classes at my local scrapbooking
store. Well as promised here is the inside of the mini album starting
with the header picture. The first page is kind of plain but is also a
pocket. It holds two photo mats. The next picture is the back side of
the first page. Also you can see the next page. All the pages are
pockets.

The next picture is a close-up. It can hold the tag that is there
or a picture can fit there.

Next is the backside of the second page and the front of the
third page. This page also holds a tag.

I hope you like the inside as much as you like the outside. If
you have any questions make sure to leave it in the comment box
and I will get to it as soon as possible. Thank you for stopping by.
Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!

Purse mini album

Good morning everyone out there that takes a minute to stop by.
First I'm going to tell you how I believe I'm losing my mind. I was
getting ready to do my blog when I went to find the pictures for this
post and I couldn't find them. I knew that I had taken pictures of the
projects that I had finished but where were they? I searched and
searched and they were no where to be found. After about an hour
of searching I finally realized that I had not downloaded the pictures.
As my family would say the dert dertter award went to me. Ok so
everyone laugh with me........LOL.........
Now that your done laughing let me show you my purse mini album.
I'm not going to post all of it in one post because there is so much to
this mini. In the header picture is the front of the mini. The next
picture is a side view.

As you can see the inside is full of pages. The next picture is the
backside.

The next picture is a wallet that I created for the purse mini. The wallet
just sits in the middle of the purse and can be removed.

The next picture is the inside of the wallet which I tried to make
it look like an actual wallet.

There is a pocket for where a drivers License should go. I also created
pockets which hold some tags. I wanted them to look like credit cards.
I will get to the pages in my next post just because I don't want my post
to be extremely long. This mini I made to give to a friend. This is just one
of three mini purse albums that I made. Each one is a different color. Hope
you like it. Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!!

Tattered Pinecone basket

A good morning to all. Hope to find everyone well and rested
from the beautiful weekend. I had a great weekend because my
best friend has moved back to the Rogue Valley after some time
away. I spent my Saturday with my best friend, her daughter, and
grandson. We had a great time just visiting. Oh how I have missed
her.  Now I also hear that one of my other good friends is moving
back here. Life just can't get any better. Oh the trouble that we will
get into like before......LOL........
Ok so now onto my project that is in my header picture. Below is a
couple of pictures of what this basket looked like before I got my
hands on it.

I used my Tim Holtz Tattered Pinecone die to upcycle the basket.
I also used some ribbon to give it some more color.
This was a quick project but I will be using it to fill it with cookies
for the holidays so I'm trying to get ahead of the holiday rush. Hope
you like it. Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!!!

Altered oatmeal can

Hello everyone,
Hope to find everyone well. I also hope that you are all creating
and joining in on some of the blog hops and tutorials that are
happening in celebration of World Card Making Day. I am spending
the day with my best girlfriend who just recently moved back to the
Rogue Valley. We have so much catching up to do and so much
trouble to get into....LOL...... So before I go I wanted to make sure
and post another project that I worked on. Since I won't get to see
my granddaughter Marion on Halloween I made her a treat/gift box.
In my header picture is an oatmeal can that I altered. Below are a
few more pictures.

Hope you like my project, until my next post Have A Splendid
Day!!!!!!

Fun times are over

Hello everyone.
I know it has been a while since I last posted. I have been busy
so much to do around here. Those of you who have moved at some
point in your life know what a job it can be. The furniture that worked
in your other house just doesn't work right in the new place. Then
there are the curtains that don't fit the windows and it just goes on
and on. I have taken some of my curtains and altered them so that
they fit my smaller windows. The cabinets that I had for my craft
storage didn't work here because I no longer have a craft room. I
now have a craft space in the living room. Maybe next summer we
will finish the other half of the attic so that I have a craft room again.
For now our living room is also my craft room and computer room.
That's life but I'm happy to be back in the Rogue Valley again.
Now on to my header picture. This is a basket that I upcycled. below
is a picture of what it looked like before I did anything to it.
Just a plain basket. I got about a dozen baskets given to me
all in different shapes and sizes. These baskets are of good quality
and real sturdy. These baskets usually are filled with fruit. At the
time I didn't know what I was going to do with them all. They have
 come in handy though.

I made some cardstock flowers using the Tim Holtz tattered
pinecone die. I used leaves that I had in my stash from my floral
designing days and I made a cardstock butterfly using one of the
butterfly punches from Martha Stewart. Glued everything on
the basket,  I made breads and cookies and delivered them to
my neighbors as a get to know my neighbors gift.
Now that things are almost all put together in our new house
I will have more time to blog again. So until my next post
Have a Splendid Day!!!!!
