New Christmas Ornaments
Hello Everyone,
hope to find you all doing well and staying warm.
I know you must be wondering what happened to me since I hadn't
posted for a while. I have had my days full with all sorts of
projects and life in general. If you didn't know it by now some
of us crafters and designers stay real hush hush about anything
new we are working on especially if we plan to do a few holiday
shows. Don't get me wrong that it bothers me when some one
craft lifts my ideas but I like to be able to show it and try and sell
it so that I can make a good chunk of change before any one else
is making it and trying to sell it. I also have been known to scrap
lift of craft lift some ideas myself every now and then.
So now onto my header picture. This is new ornament that I made
I used my cricut to cut out the Eiffel Tower and I hand wrote Paris
I added pink feathers instead of the fake snow. Put it all together
in a clear ball ornament.
The picture doesn't do it justice. Hope you like it.
I will be at Wilson School this weekend selling my crafts.
Hope to see some of my old friends. A special Thank you to
Yolanda Vanderveen for the push to do the shows again.
Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!

Blue glitter
Good Morning everyone!
So glad to be here today to share another project. Hope to
find you all doing well this Friday. Do you all have something
fun planned for the weekend? I on the other hand have nothing
fun planned other then getting some things done around the
house and hopefully I can get some crafting done. Well lets
get to my project. I made another purse mini album. This time
I'm not going to go showing you all the pages because it was
basically done like the first one I showed everyone. I did tweak
it a little bit but not enough that it changed it completely.
As you see I made it in blue and also made the wallet to go with
it. This project was a special order. I had stopped in my local
scrapbooking store to see if they carried the disc magnets because
on the other purse I had used Velcro to keep the purse and wallet
closed and I was afraid that if it were opened and closed a lot that
the Velcro would pull off the cardstock. I took my mini with me to
make sure that I would get the right size. The gals there loved it and
one of the gals asked me if I could make her one in blue. She wanted
to give it to her best friend on her birthday. This purse has a magnet
that keeps it closed now instead of velcro. I like the magnet closure
better. I hope you like this one too. Now I'm off to get some things
done so until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!

Cute Witch
Good Morning everyone!
Hope that you are all enjoying hump day. I know that I am enjoying
the day because the weather sure has been nice lately. I also have a
job interview this morning so wish me luck.
I have been having fun just creating. This new creation I know is
a little bright in color but I love how this card turned out. The digi
comes from The Enchanting Art of Heather Valentin. I coloured her
with water color pencils. Below is a close-up of the digi.
Isn't she adorable?
The pattern paper comes from the Recollections Midnight Magic
stack. This stack was put out in 2011. Like I said before I'm trying
real hard to use up my stash. So far I think I'm doing pretty good
In my upcoming posts you will see some old cardstock stacks.
Hope you like my card. Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!

Let me share
Good morning everyone.
Hope to find you all doing well and staying warm. Hopefully
you are all taking the time to get out and look at the beautiful
fall colors.
Usually on Tuesdays I show you some thrifty buys I have made.
Today I'm going to share something different. In my header picture
is a scene that is stamped. It is just the start of a beautiful creation. I
found a youtuber that creates some gorgeous scenes using just stamps.
Kevin is the owner of this stamp line and the creator. If you follow
the link below you can watch Kevin at work which is just amazing.
Now don't think that I won't ever show some thrifty buys on
Tuesdays because I have several to share.....LOL..... I just want
to keep things interesting. I hope that you take the time to watch
this video. Thank you for stopping by and until my next post

My Skeleton Friend
Good Morning everyone, hope to find you all doing well.
The weather was beautiful yesterday that I got some things
done around the yard. Today I will be on a mission to find a
glass for our woodstove because we broke it while cleaning it
to prepare to use it. Little things that happen in life and we
go with the flow. Now onto my header picture. I made a
Halloween card using coredinations sand n tear it emboss
cardstock. The header picture was taken before I added the
bling from Recollections so that all the words could be seen.
I embossed it using the Tim Holts Alterations Halloween Print
embossing folder then sanded the cardstock to bring out the
underlying color and make the words stand out. The stamp is
My Minds Eyes Lost and Found Halloween collection
I'm trying to use a lot of my stash cardstock before I go buying
anymore cardstock. I probably have about a three foot stack of
cardstock if I stacked it.....LOL.... and I know that I am not the
only one out here in blog world. I have a problem and I need help.
We need to start some type of cardstockaholics group. Ok so I'm off
the blog subject lets get back to my card....LOL......
A real simple card but I like how it turned out. Hope you like it
too. Until my next post. Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!!

Finally the last pages
Good Morning to all my beautiful followers.
Hope you are all doing well. As for me I am doing ok with the
exception of the weather I don't know what kind of weather you
are all dealing with but as for me and in my neck of the woods we have
had some cold days. We have stayed in the lower sixties, but they say
that we will be back in the seventies staring around Tuesday. I'll just
have to wait and see. With the cold spell that we had we were just not
real ready for so we were scrambling to get some things done around
here that I didn't realize that I hadn't scheduled any posts. So here is the
last pages of the purse mini.
Finally the last pages. A lot of pockets, tags, and mats. So many places
to put pictures. Hope you like it. Until my next post Have A Splendid
Day!!!!!!!!

Mini Purse Album part 2
Good morning everyone.
Hope to find everyone doing well. I'm keeping busy creating and
working on a schedule to give some classes at my local scrapbooking
store. Well as promised here is the inside of the mini album starting
with the header picture. The first page is kind of plain but is also a
pocket. It holds two photo mats. The next picture is the back side of
the first page. Also you can see the next page. All the pages are
pockets.
The next picture is a close-up. It can hold the tag that is there
or a picture can fit there.
Next is the backside of the second page and the front of the
third page. This page also holds a tag.
I hope you like the inside as much as you like the outside. If
you have any questions make sure to leave it in the comment box
and I will get to it as soon as possible. Thank you for stopping by.
Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!

Purse mini album
Good morning everyone out there that takes a minute to stop by.
First I'm going to tell you how I believe I'm losing my mind. I was
getting ready to do my blog when I went to find the pictures for this
post and I couldn't find them. I knew that I had taken pictures of the
projects that I had finished but where were they? I searched and
searched and they were no where to be found. After about an hour
of searching I finally realized that I had not downloaded the pictures.
As my family would say the dert dertter award went to me. Ok so
everyone laugh with me........LOL.........
Now that your done laughing let me show you my purse mini album.
I'm not going to post all of it in one post because there is so much to
this mini. In the header picture is the front of the mini. The next
picture is a side view.
As you can see the inside is full of pages. The next picture is the
backside.
The next picture is a wallet that I created for the purse mini. The wallet
just sits in the middle of the purse and can be removed.
The next picture is the inside of the wallet which I tried to make
it look like an actual wallet.
There is a pocket for where a drivers License should go. I also created
pockets which hold some tags. I wanted them to look like credit cards.
I will get to the pages in my next post just because I don't want my post
to be extremely long. This mini I made to give to a friend. This is just one
of three mini purse albums that I made. Each one is a different color. Hope
you like it. Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!!

Tattered Pinecone basket
A good morning to all. Hope to find everyone well and rested
from the beautiful weekend. I had a great weekend because my
best friend has moved back to the Rogue Valley after some time
away. I spent my Saturday with my best friend, her daughter, and
grandson. We had a great time just visiting. Oh how I have missed
her. Now I also hear that one of my other good friends is moving
back here. Life just can't get any better. Oh the trouble that we will
get into like before......LOL........
Ok so now onto my project that is in my header picture. Below is a
couple of pictures of what this basket looked like before I got my
hands on it.
I used my Tim Holtz Tattered Pinecone die to upcycle the basket.
I also used some ribbon to give it some more color.
This was a quick project but I will be using it to fill it with cookies
for the holidays so I'm trying to get ahead of the holiday rush. Hope
you like it. Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!!!

Altered oatmeal can
Hello everyone,
Hope to find everyone well. I also hope that you are all creating
and joining in on some of the blog hops and tutorials that are
happening in celebration of World Card Making Day. I am spending
the day with my best girlfriend who just recently moved back to the
Rogue Valley. We have so much catching up to do and so much
trouble to get into....LOL...... So before I go I wanted to make sure
and post another project that I worked on. Since I won't get to see
my granddaughter Marion on Halloween I made her a treat/gift box.
In my header picture is an oatmeal can that I altered. Below are a
few more pictures.
Hope you like my project, until my next post Have A Splendid
Day!!!!!!

Fun times are over
Hello everyone.
I know it has been a while since I last posted. I have been busy
so much to do around here. Those of you who have moved at some
point in your life know what a job it can be. The furniture that worked
in your other house just doesn't work right in the new place. Then
there are the curtains that don't fit the windows and it just goes on
and on. I have taken some of my curtains and altered them so that
they fit my smaller windows. The cabinets that I had for my craft
storage didn't work here because I no longer have a craft room. I
now have a craft space in the living room. Maybe next summer we
will finish the other half of the attic so that I have a craft room again.
For now our living room is also my craft room and computer room.
That's life but I'm happy to be back in the Rogue Valley again.
Now on to my header picture. This is a basket that I upcycled. below
is a picture of what it looked like before I did anything to it.
Just a plain basket. I got about a dozen baskets given to me
all in different shapes and sizes. These baskets are of good quality
and real sturdy. These baskets usually are filled with fruit. At the
time I didn't know what I was going to do with them all. They have
come in handy though.
I made some cardstock flowers using the Tim Holtz tattered
pinecone die. I used leaves that I had in my stash from my floral
designing days and I made a cardstock butterfly using one of the
butterfly punches from Martha Stewart. Glued everything on
the basket, I made breads and cookies and delivered them to
my neighbors as a get to know my neighbors gift.
Now that things are almost all put together in our new house
I will have more time to blog again. So until my next post
Have a Splendid Day!!!!!

Oh plums I see
Good morning everyone,
Hope everyone is doing well. I am dragging a little. So much to do
and the smoke is at sensitive levels again. I was able to get some
things done outside yesterday but today is going to be some work.
In my header picture is an oil painting of plums and it comes from
The Turner Gallery an Etsy shop the link is below.
On our property there are three plum trees and today I need
to spend some time picking them. It wouldn't be so bad if I
actually liked plums. I just can't let them go to waste so I will
pick them and try and give them away.
We also have some blackberries growing here but then again
that should be no surprise because blackberries grow wild here.
The beautiful picture of the blackberries come from the Etsy
shop at the link below.
This shop is actually selling blackberry seeds but the picture
of the blackberries is gorgeous. Picking the blackberries is totally
different because I actually like blackberries. I'll tell you a little
secret. When I take the dogs outside I stand by the blackberry
bushes picking and eating a handful or two. Shhh don't tell anyone.
And I wonder why I could use to lose about twenty pounds.
.....LOL......
Oh well I love my blackberries. Hopefully tomorrow I can get
a good sunny day to take pictures of my projects and maybe
I can find the right place and lighting to take all my pictures
still working on that issue since we moved.
Please keep the firefighters that are fighting the wildfires in your
prayers.Yesterday a firefighter lost his life here in Oregon. The
bad thing is that we have thunderstorms in affect for the next
few days and with thunderstorms come lightening. Pray that
no more fires start up. It's been one crazy summer weather wise
and not just here but all over our country. We will get through this
God willing.
So until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!

A crazy week
Good Monday Morning.
Hope you all had a great weekend. I had kind of a busy weekend
to go along with my busy week. In my header picture is what most
of our week looked like with all the fires burning around us. Well
tis was one of the better days where visibilty was more than a quarter
mile We had a few days that the air quality was at dangerous levels. So
as soon as we had a good air quality day I had a lot that I had to take
care of in town. I did go out in the mess on Monday to get my Oregon
drivers license now that I had my new birth certificate.
On Thursday again I went out into the bad air to pick up my sons
new plates for his vehicle. The bank finally came through after I
said no payment would be made.
Friday it finally cleared up enough to go out and do my grocery
shopping. Most of the week I had to figure out how to keep the
dogs busy inside so they wouldn't want to be outside other than
long enough to do their business otherwise they would have sneezing
fits that they were smacking their faces on the hardwood floor.
Saturday I tried to catch up on all the outside stuff that didn't get
done all week. Then Saturday night my granddaughter Marion took
a spill off of her wheel chair and broke her leg, she has an appointment
today with an orthopedic surgeon to see if they will need to operate
to fix it. Below is a picture of her at the hospital while she is waiting
to be seen.
Sunday we went out to my mother-in-laws for lunch with since my
sister-in-law and niece are here visiting. I got very little blogging
and crafting done. Hopefully this week I will do better. So until my
next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!

I'm designing
Hello everyone
Hope to find all of you doing well.
Todays post is a little different than normal. For some time
now I have been working on a project. This project was a
design that I came up with to store all my tags that I had
received from my tag swaps. In my header picture is the
example that I came up with. I have exhausted all the ways
I can think of to get it off the ground so I have now taken it
to Quirky. Quirky is a place where anyone with great ideas
can add an invention. The community will be commenting and
voting on the idea. If it gets 200 votes, it will automatically
move into Expert Review, where a Quirky team discusses the
idea in great detail. To help make this happen. We are to tell
our friends and family about our idea and ask them to support
it by joining Quirky, voting and commenting. The best of the
best ideas in Expert Review move on to the live Product
Evaluation. If you think that my design is a great idea would
you please go to Quirky sign up and vote.
The tag holder is not the only design that I have listed
on Quirky, below is a sketch of another design that I
came up with
This design is a steamer for Tamales. There are steamers
out there but not like this. If you have ever made tamales
then you know that they are steamed and not cooked. This
steamer would have a place to lean against while making
them stand. I usually use a jar but when I am trying to stand
them up I am always fighting the jar from falling over. The
tamales also sit right in the water so sometimes they don't
steam right. Because tamales are a lot of work when I make
them I usually do about ten dozen and have to steam two
pots of them. This pot would enable me to steam them all
at once.
So if you could help me out to get my designs to the next
level I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you!!!
Until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!

Mini album page and tech difficulties
Hello everyone,
Hope to find you all doing well. I'm doing a lot better now that
our heat wave is over. Since it has been hot it got very dry so
now we are dealing with fires all around us. The smoke is getting
thick here in the valley and they are warning that anyone with
breathing problems to stay indoors. The smoke doesn't bother
me but still I will be indoors crafting.
In my header picture and the picture below is another page that
goes to the mini book that I have been working on
Like I said before just not happy with this mini and how it turned
out. Anyways moving on.
Well with all the heat that we have been having my husband has
been home fairly early from work since Wednesday and he gets
on my computer that I can never get on it and take care of my
blog. Also when I set my desk top up I didn't notice that files
disappeared so I have been trying to fix that. The wireless printer
wouldn't hook up either but finally last night it came all together
that I even opened my Etsy shop back up and started listing new
items to my shop.
Hopefully all my technical difficulties are done. One can only
hope. So until my next post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!

Hump day = rant day
Hello everyone! Hope you are all having a good day.
I hope that with this header picture that it gives you an
idea as to how I am feeling.
First I want to say I love Medford. I spent four hours
at the Department of Motor Vehicles. Four stinking
hours to take my written test to change my drivers
license and to still not have it. Not because I didn't pass
the test but because I need my Birth Certificate. Ok
so when we moved here in the eighties the certificate
that I had worked. When we moved to Washington I
used the same certificate even after all the 9/11 situation.
I still am on file at the Oregon DMV because it was only
five years ago that we left the state. After a call to the
statistics office and thirty-one dollars I will have to wait
for about five days to receive my birth certificate
GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!
Now I said that it was rant day so if you don't want to
hear about the rest of the day you can run now.
.......LOL......
So the picture above really shows how I'm feeling.
I'm going to tell you now that if you ever want good
customer services if you borrow money from an institution
don't borrow from Wells Fargo they blow.
My son had purchased his pickup in Washington through
them. When you move to another state you have x amount
of days to change plates and licenses etc. In May my son
went to try and change the plates to his vehicle. DMV told
my son that he needed to contact the bank and let them
know so that they would send the WA. title to DMV and
sold him a trip permit so that he would be legal if he got stopped
while waiting for the paperwork to be done by the bank He
contacted the bank and they told him that it would get done. So
he waits and waits and nothing. Now mind you he took a
day off of work the first time and he takes another day off
to try and get to the bottom of things. The bank once again
tells them that it will get taken care of it won't be longer than
three days. Days go by and since all that should have to be
done is pay the fee and pick up the plates I go to DMV to do
that and guess what? Wrong !!!!! My son calls the bank
again they tell him that they have sent it. Liars!!!!! Monday
we receive a letter telling us that we are to go to DMV find
out what the fees are fill out the paperwork send the paperwork
to the bank along with a check written to DMV. So while I was
there for my license I took care of getting the fee info.We are now
six days from the second trip permit expiring and in Oregon
you are only allowed two trip permits on a vehicle a year.
I call the bank they tell me to overnight the paper work and me
pay the overnight mailing fee. Really???? Lost wages, two trip
permits equal one pickup payment and now so that we can follow
the law in Oregon they want us to pay an overnight fee so they
can drag their feet once again and still not get the plates in time.
I've been on the phone telling them off. We are not trying to get
out of the registration fees or licensing fees which is a hundred
ninety-four dollars. Wells Fargo blows!!!!!! Don't do business
with them. They will pass the buck and never admit the wrong
that they have done and all the money that they have cost you
and may cost you. So now you know Why I feel like the picture
in my post. Hopefully tomorrow I will get to a regular post.
Have a great evening!!!!!!!

Have a great evening!!!!!
Trifty Tuesday and a change of the brains
Hello blog world and all my followers.
Hope to find you all doing well. I'm trying not to melt in this
heat wave that we are having. We are suppose to be cooling
down but not by much. We will make it through it like we
always do. So onward to my header picture. I found this stack
at Biglots for five dollars. It called The Wizard of OZ made by
Paper House.
There are twelve different pages and you get two of each page
but the two pictured here are my favorites. The pages are
double sided. The page with the shoes says "It's all about the
shoes". Just love these pages. Don't you?
Ok so as you all noticed I missed posting a couple of days
and the reason for that is that I finally found a computer desk
that I really liked which means that I had to re-arrange again
so that I could set up my desk top (the big brain). Once I get
everything set up I will take a picture of it. How I missed my
desk top because it is much faster than the old laptop. So I put
off getting on the laptop but finally bit the bullet because I
needed all the pictures that I had taken for blogging and my
etsy shop.
Well
I'm off to find what I need to get everything put away again.
.........LOL........
Wish me luck that I find what I'm looking for. Until my next
post Have A Splendid Day!!!!!!!!!
